Program Team LottoNL-Jumbo fan day

The ideal occasion to: collect autographs, get your picture taken with the riders, buy a Team LottoNL-Jumbo kit or cycle on an authentic Team LottoNL-Jumbo Bianchi.

Saturday the 17th of October, our annual fan day will take place at sports centre Olympus in Utrecht, the Netherlands. The ideal occasion to: collect autographs, get your picture taken with the riders, buy a Team LottoNL-Jumbo kit or cycle on an authentic Team LottoNL-Jumbo Bianchi. Next to this, we have several other things planned:

At 12:00PM, we will open the doors to our fan day. Sports centre Olympus will host several events to do with cycling. Think about, the maintenance of a bicycle and the body (nutrition, drinks, massages, sleep), but we also sell Bianchi’s. Next to this, we organize a press conference during which you can ask questions and there will be a quiz.

Learn about food and sleep

One of the stands will be about nutrition, an important aspect in the innovative world of cycling. Next to the fact that Jumbo supplies the team with food, we work together with Daily Fresh Food as well. At the stand about food we will explain the influence nutrition has on the riders’ performances, what they eat during the day, or a multiple stage race, and how their meals are prepared.

The next presentation will commence at 14:30PM, a press conference. Which question would you like to ask the riders or team’s staff? Now is your chance.

An other stand will be about rest and is given by MLine. Everyone is welcome to listen to an explanation by MLine’s experts about why the riders’ mattresses are taken from hotel to hotel during a grand tour. Does it really make such a difference? You will receive the answer today.

Especially for Team LottoNL-Jumbo’s official FANS

In a separate room, reserved especially for our official FANS, two extra sessions will take place. From 13:30PM onwards, Richard Plugge and Mathieu Heijboer will be on the stage, to discuss training. There will be room for questions afterwards.

From 15:30PM onwards, Richard Plugge will be on stage once more, this time accompanied by coach Merijn Zeeman. This master class will be about coaching. Afterwards, two riders will join and there will be room for questions as well.
